I woke up with a start yesterday morning after a strange dream.
I’ve described before in this blog how I sometimes overreact to tiny frustrations, and what woke me was an overreaction, but this time it was entirely imaginary.
In my dream I was trying to roll up a sheet of sticky-back vinyl. I’ve no idea why I was doing this and it isn’t something of which I’ve much real-world experience. But the vinyl wouldn’t roll in a straight line and it kept buckling. I persevered but eventually I was overwhelmed with frustration, and my tics increased dramatically. Then I woke up.
This strange little dream made me laugh, but I’ve made a mental note to stay away from sticky-back vinyl.
